Sustainable manufacturing is gaining more and more concerns.Energy efficient manufacturing is one of the pillars of sustainable manufacturing.In dustrial robots(IRs)are widely used and consume about 8%of the total electrical energy during production phase just in automobile industry.So it is meaningful to improve the energy efficiency of IRs.Cloud manufacturing which adopts service-oriented model is also one of the trends of manufactur ing.
