This minisymposium focuses on complex problems arising from geophysical flows and their numerical simulations.The models are typically governed by hyperbolic systems of conservation and balance laws,which are difficult to be solved numerically due to the presence of(possibly singular)geometric source terms,nonconservative exchange terms as well as multiscale phenomena in singular limit cases.
