Three-way data arrays usually refer to a set of observation units on which a number of quantitative variables are collected during several(time) occasions.The Candecomp/Parafac(Carroll & Chang,1970;Harshman,1970) model can be seen as an exploratory latent variable model allowing us to study such arrays by extracting unobservable factors.
