Mulberry alkaloid, extracted from Chinese Medicine Mulberry, is one potential oral medication for treating type 2 diabetes by inhibiting Glycosides.Its pharmacologic activity has been studied thoroughly, however, the molecular mechanism of single active ingredient of the Mulberry alkaloid, such as 1-Deoxynojirimycin(1-DNJ), Fagomine (FA) and 1,4-Dideoxy-l,4-imino-D-arabinitol (DAB),have not been well studied.
