Biodegradable polymer-based micro/nanoparticles have been extensively investigated as vaccine adjuvants.Various characteristics of micro/nanoparticles determine the potency of particle-based vaccines, and the particle surface charge is an important one [1].Aim of this study is to investigate how particle surface charge affects the interaction between antigen (H5N1 influenza split vaccine) and particles, and subsequent antigen-specific immune response.
