The KoRA (Korea Regional Reanalysis) is a dynamically consistent, high-resolution (5 km), and high-frequency (1-hourly) atmospheric and land surface dataset for the Korea Peninsula domain for a variety of application such as a quick support to forecasters.Essential components of the KLAPS (Korea Local Analysis and Prediction System) used to generate KoRA are the lateral boundaries from ECMWF global analysis data, WRF model (V3.2) and its data assimilation system (FDDA), and a wide range of observational datasets from in-situ and remote sensing observing systems. At present, it covers the 8-year period of 2005-2012.
