CTST-F1 which combined CTST [1] and F 1 [2] together is a new combination tray [3].The advantage of the new tray is that it can overcome the limitation of single CTST or F1 tray,and it has a bright prospect of application in chemical industry.The hydrodynamic behaviors including clear liquid height,pressure drop,entrainment,weeping liquid and etc.of the CTST-F1 combination tray were studied with air-water system in a 570mm diameter cold model column [4].
