上世纪80年代初,刚开启的中国改革开放之门,迎来了英国伦敦莎士比亚剧组,他们在南京演出《第十二夜》后,江苏省昆剧院尽地主之谊,为远方来客演出了《盗甲》、《杀惜》、《题曲》、《痴梦》四出折子。剧终,客人登台向演员致谢交谈。英方导演约翰·弗雷泽问一位主要演员:“为什么这四出戏前后风格、方法不一样?”
