                                20世纪90年代以来,日本经济陷入长期低迷,曾经广受赞誉的日本企业雇用管理制度——终身雇用制也开始受到质疑。面对激变的经营环境,日本企业开始纷纷推出改革举措,其主要特征是:引进绩效主义、彻底改革有日本经营“法宝”之称的终身雇用体制。经营环境决定企业的经营方式,日本企业的这次雇用体制的制度创新尚处于初始阶段,终身雇用制的“外壳”仍将继续存在一段时间。
Since the 1990s, Japan’s economy has been stuck in a long-term downturn. The once-acclaimed Japanese enterprise management system, the tenure system, has also begun to be questioned. In the face of a fickle business environment, Japanese companies are beginning to launch reform measures one after another. Their main features are: the introduction of performance-oriented reforms and the thorough reform of a life-long employment system that is known as the “magic weapon” in Japan. The business environment determines the mode of operation of an enterprise and the institutional innovation of the employment system of a Japanese enterprise is still in its infancy. The “shell” of tenured employment will continue to exist for some time.
