In the ICF experiments,spectrum of X-ray includes a lot of information.There are some methods to measure it,which have some disadvantages,such as high energy tail or high order diffraction.Those disadvantages can be avoided by using multilayer spectrometer,and energy resolution capability can be improved.Multilayer spectrometer,an X-ray energy spectrometer with high resolution,is composed of multilayer mirrors with different period thickness,some suitable filters and X-ray detectors (XRD).In this paper,a multilayer spectrometer is developed,which will be applied in ICF experiments.The specifications as follow:Energy range:100~1500eV; Channel number:8; Vacuum degree:3Xl0-3Pa.The project was proposed on the base of design demand.Then the model was set up and analyzed.1) It is the key to design a cone where multilayer mirrors are fixed.The 8 channels of spectrometer are all set on the cone.And multilayer mirrors angle is ensured by the cone side.2) It is very difficult to design 8 canisters for XRDs’ installation.Because 8 canisters must mach 8 multilayer mirrors,their angles distribute between 16°~45°,which is a large range.As well the vacuum degree of system must get satisfied.3) The collimation machine is important,because it would impact the physical performance of system.More precise the machine is,and more precise the angles of multilayer mirrors are.It has a serious influence on the spectrometers measurement.4) The 3-D model of spectrometer was set up.And static analysis and modal analysis was completed,in order to get the distortion and displacement results on the influence of gravity,inherent frequency and other parameters.This multilayer spectrometer is the most advanced inland,and its very different with overseas ones.The spectrometer with a wide energy range,8 channels,and a simple structure,can be used easily and satisfy all experimental demands.
