In this research,we attempted to achieve a rapid preparation of monodisperse poly(styrene-divinyl benzene)nanospheres via continuous emulsion polymerization conducted in tubular microreactor.The reaction setup and operational conditions were explored to make a compromise of reliable operation and controllable conversion.With the help of perfect heat and mass transfer performance in microreactor,the polymerization temperature and monomer-to-water ratio could be selected within wide ranges.
