It is well known that alloying, precipitation and grain refinement were used as main approaches to improve strength of aluminum alloys.Although concurrent strengthening of severe plastic deformation (SPD) and precipitation hardening is desired to achieve further high strength, the age-hardenability often reduces due to the competitive precipitation among grain interior, dislocations and/or grain boundaries.
