Protein glycosylation,as one of the most common post-translational modification in eukaryotic organisms, plays a biological significant role in diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of cancer due to its close relationship with the initiation and progression of tumors, and glycoproteins have been virtually regarded as a major class of current therapeutic targets and clinical biomarkers. As glycoproteins usually coexist with other components in real samples, highly specific capture of glycoproteins from complex biological matrix becomes the prerequisite prior to glycoproteome analysis.
