The effect of magnetic heat treatment on microstructures and mechanical properties in the DZ483 alloy was investigated in combination with the high temperature tensile experiments.It was found that the morphology ofγprecipitates became spherical in the magnetic field of 12T in comparison with that without magnetic field.Additionally, the magnetic field increased the tensile strength, elongation and micro-hardness of the alloy.However, the magnetic field had no obvious effect on the reduction in area of alloys.The changes were probably correlated with the magnitude of the γ/γ lattice misfit in the magnetic field.
