　　In eukaryotic organisms, histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complexes are coactivators that are important for transcriptional activation by modifying chromatin.In this study, we identified a gene from Phytophthora sojae encoding a histone acetyltransferase, then designed PsGcn5, a homolog of one component of the HAT complex from yeasts to mammals.
