This study investigated the feasibility of wood powders filled recycle Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Nylon 6 alloy (PET/Nylon) and then manufactured Wood-Plastic Composites (WPCs).The specimens of WPCs were made through compounding and injection moulding methods.Adding POE-g-MA as coupling agent for WPC indeed improve not only compatibility between the two polymer, PET and Nylon 6, but also mechanical properties. The WPCs fixed the wood powders content and investigated mechanical properties, like tensile strength, flexure properties and impact strength with different mixing ratio polymer of PET to Nylon 6 (P60/N40、 P50/N50 、 P40/N60).Besides, we also investigated the reliability of WPC under different humidity and thermal aging.
