Hyperelastic materials are very often used to model almost incompressible materials e.g.biological soft tissues and rubber-like materials. It is well known that the classical displacement based finite element methods are not efficient for the analysis of such materials and give inaccurate results [1].The common problems with displacement based finite element methods are the incorrect stresses, ill conditioning of the stiffness matrix, and locking.A great amount of research has been conducted in the past to accurately solve hyperelastic materials. The mixed finite element formulation [1] with displacements and pressures as variables is proved to be accurate and suitable for such materials.
