Carbon nanofibers (CNF) and MnOx@CNF nanofibers (MCNF) are fabricated by electrospinning and investigated as free-standing electrodes for supercapacitor. This work presents a study of the effect of different heating rate during carbonization on the capacitive behavior of the as-prepared MnOx@CNF composite electrodes in 6M KOH electrolyte. All electrodes have been characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and galvanostatic charge/discharge tests.
