The moment method for Boltzmann equation since Grad[1949] is very fascinating due to the virtue of removing the dimension of the velocity space.The developing of the method has long being suffered from several fatal difficulties,including(1)the lack of the hyperbolicity for distribution far from equilibrium,(2)the appearance of unphysical waves,and(3)the inaccessibility of numerical method for high order of moment system,etc.We have developed effective methods to answer the three questions as listed in the last years.In this talk,I will focus on the first issue to give globally hyperbolic fluid dynamics models up to arbitrary order of moment expansion.
