This study aims to provide a three-dimensional(3D)finite element model to dynamically simulate soil and toothed wheel interaction.Toothed wheel is a commonly used working tool in reservoir tillage system.For reservoir tillage system,predicting the interaction behaviour between soil and toothed wheel is of prime importance in helping to enhance operation workability and efficiency.Finite element method has been proved reliable at analyzing soil and tillage tool interactions.However,previous finite element studies are mainly focused on tillage tools such as mouldboard,blade,or disk plow.There are few available reports of 3D dynamic models to predict interaction behaviour between soil and toothed wheel.In this study,using the Drucker-Prager constitutive material model implemented in a commercial finite code ABAQUS.
