A complex branched LDPE resin with good processing and excellent film forming properties is fractionated by temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF).The molecular chain heterogeneity of the resin is studied in detail by multiple methods.The cross-fiactionation techniques of TREF-GPC and TREF-SSA evaluate the microstructure distribution of the resin.The characterization of fractions indicates the resin has a complex branched structure.The relationship between chain structure and property is established.
