  Active species such as ozone and hydroxyl radicals could be generated by electrochemical method,and the electrode material had effect on its life,catalytic performance and the production of radicals.Since PbO2 electrode had good performance on its life and degradation efficiency of pollutants,decolorization of methyl orange(MO)waste water by electrochemical oxidation method was conducted with Ti/PbO2 electrode as anode and a pure Ti plate as cathode.The Ti/PbO2 electrode was made by electrical deposition method,in which a pure Ti sheet was used to substrate to fabricate uniform PbO2 thin film.
