Objective:To investigate the relationship between hypertension and single nucleotide polymorphism of three genes whose productions regulate the water and sodium metabolism.Methods:The questionnaire investigations, physical examinations, serological tests and the brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity measurements were separately done on the 1122 monks and nons gathered through random sampling.204 hypertension patients and 305 age-and-gender matched normal blood pressure owners were selected.Their DNA were extracted from the peripheral white blood cells and amplified by the Polymerase Chain Reaction.And then, the 9 SNP Iocuses belonging to the three genes were identified using the Molecular Mass Spectrometry.
