Microfluidics, a multidisciplinary subject involving physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering, has developed rapidly during the past two decades.[1] There is no doubt that microfluidic devices will represent new promising tools for the production of size and shape-controlled polymer particles.[2] For example, Yang et al.developed a novel drug delivery system based on magnetic and fluorescent multifunctional polycaprolactone (PCL) microcapsules.
