　　Three novel ERF (ethylene response factor) genes, BkERF1, BkERF2.1 and BkERF2.2, were isolated from Bupleurum kaoi Liu, Chao et Chuang which is endemic in Taiwan.Sequence analysis indicates that the deduced BkERFs contain a canonical nuclear localization signal (NLS) and an ERF/AP2 DNA binding domain, which belongs to the ERF subfamily B-3.
