The Church Law is a collection of rules and constitutions based on the Christian theology as the core of the Pope and the Holy See in medieval Europe. With the expansion of the church forces and the establishment of the papal authority, the church law gradually evolved into a comprehensive and universally applicable legal system that transcends national boundaries and nationalities. It not only deals with the organization, system, beliefs and lifestyles of Christians, but also contains a wealth of ideas of international law.
