  As a continuation of previous work of our group by Cheng and co-workers inventing a simple solvothermal method to fabricate metal organic framework NH2-MIL-53(Al)crystals with controllable size and morphology[1],we present here use acetone as an additive to go further on the mechanism research and the controllable extent.With acetone added in water or DMF,we both obtained NH2-MIL-53(Al)materials.And following the regular patterns been reported before,the product crystals in DMF have much higher yield(nearly 100%)than in water(about 30-40%),the phenomenon is quite similar when acetone is added.And in acetone mixed solvents systems,the crystalline size got smaller with the increasing volume ratio of acetone in solvents[2].
