Neuronal differentiation is a multiple step process involving cell fate determination, migration and final maturation of new born neurons.Extensive studies have been carried out on the early phase of neuronal differentiation, namely the mechanisms of cell fate determination.However, less is known about how the neuronal maturation is regulated,and how genes or signaling involved in different stages of neuronal differentiation are coordinated to full-fill this process.
