Laccase from white-rot fungus Trametes versicolor was immobilized on membrane by ttachment and entrapment techniques.The immobilized laccase exhibited improved stability properties to various parameters, such as pH and temperature.Decolorization experiments ofanthraquinone dye were conducted with immobilized laccase on membrane.Unlike free enzyme, immobilized enzyme could be easily separated from reaction solution, and the immobilized laccase showed effective decolorization when compared to free laccase.The results obtained from dead-end laccase-immobilized membrane reactor showed that more than 80 % ofdecolorization retained for continuous treatment period, and the immobilized laccase can be potential candidate for utilization in decolorization processes.
