Three dimensional hollow carbon spheres/graphene(HCS/GF)hybrid nanostructures were prepared from polypropylene(PP)/montmorillonite(MMT)/Fe3O4 composite by an easy method.In this method,PP was used as carbon source and Fe3O4 nanoparticles were used as template for the formation of hollow carbon spheres; at the same time,MMTwas served as template,oleic acid as the carbon source and Fe3O4 as the catalyst for the graphene synthesis,respectively.More importantly,in the resultant HCS/GF hybrid structure,monodispersed small hollow carbon spheres could be distributed on graphene with controllable density through tuning the amount of added Fe3O4 nanoparticles by self-assembly method.
