功能性食品指的是能改善人体健康状况的食品。这些食品可以比一般食物含有更多的维生素、矿物质和其他必需营养素,也可以包含非营养性成分。各国关于功能性食品健康声称的管理存在差异。由于缺乏恰当一致的管理,使一些确实具有健康效应的功能性成分的作用受到质疑。因此,政府有责任确保声称的真实准确性,避免误导消费者。
Functional foods are foods that improve human health. These foods can contain more vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients than normal foods, and can also contain non-nutritive ingredients. There are differences in the management of functional food health claims among countries. The lack of proper and consistent management has challenged the role of some of the functional components that actually have health effects. Therefore, it is the government’s responsibility to ensure the true accuracy of the claims and to avoid misleading consumers.
