Introduction: Diffuse malignant pleural mesothelioma (DMPM) is a rare thoracic malignancy, but its incidence is dramatically increasing worldwide as a result of widespread use of asbestos.DMPM remains suffering poor prognosis and the diagnosis should always be based on adequate, representative tissue samples.
