Brass ware has been used as a Korean traditional kitchen ware which is an alloy of 78% copper and 22% tin.Recently,its antibacterial ability for Gram negative bacteria was reported.The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial ability of brass for E.sakazakii under different relative humidities(RH).One hundred and twenty one E.sakazakii isolates and other pathogens were tested for the ability on the metal coupon.To compare the death rate on the metal,stainless steel,tin,and copper coupons as control metal were used.8 Log CFU/mL of bacteria was loaded and dried on each metal surface for 0hr to 72hr under 40 and 75% relative humanities.
