Coordination polymers(CPs),as a kind of compounds constructed by metal ions or metal clusters and organic ligands, have shown widely potential applications in magnetic materials, energy storage, sensor, gas storage and separation, drug delivery and catalysis.[1] CPs/MOFs as energy storage materials for lithium-ion batteries can be classified into two cases. In one case,MOFs can serve as excellent precursors for synthesis of porous transition metal oxides,or metal oxides embedded in porous carbon matrices, due to their controllable micropore size and high surface area.In the other case,CPs/MOFs themselves can be directly used as electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries, due to their porosity and metal cations providing the accommodation space of Li-ion and the redox active sites,respectively.CPs/MOFs,which directly used as electrode materials of Li-ion batteries, have also received tremendous attentions recently.
