  Availability is an important index to measure the service performance of navigation satellite.The traditional availability analysis methods only take into account the satellite failure factors,but not consider the satellite performance status.An availability analysis method of navigation satellite based on Petri nets is proposed in this paper,considering both the two factors of failure and performance status.
