Protein is the construction unit of life bodies and the carrier of life activities,which is composed of amino acid residues.Proteins of different number or sequence in amino acid residues may have different biological functions,and often accompanying different physic-chemical properties,such as collagen & keratin.Considering the special properties of various proteins,people want to artificially construct proteins of similar properties to the natural ones.Among the 20 kinds of natural amino acids,some are hydrophilic,others are hydrophobic.For the hydrophilic amino acids,some have positive electric charges,some have negative electric charges,and some have no one.
