Endophytic bacteria have been found in virtually every plant studied, where they colonize the internal tissues of their bost plant and can form a range of different relationships, mutualistic or commensalistic.Endophytic bacteria may be important for promoting plant health and can act as biocontrol agents In this study, endophytic bacterial community in the roots of native plants in Korea was analysed using pyrosequencing analysis. The analysis of pyrosequence showed that members of the genus Streptomyces formed the major root endophytic actinobacterial constituents in all plant species investigated.Streptomyces was also found as a major constituent in culture-based analysis.
