Boron mud was modified withγ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane,titanate,CTAB,borate and aluminum acetate through wet method and dry process.That FTIR confirms the successful modification and contact angle and water adsorption amount measurement show that aluminum acetate modified boron mud contains the largest contact angle and lowest water adsorption,which indicates that aluminum acetate modified boron mud is more suitable for flame retardant composite preparation.
