Photocatalytic water splitting into hydrogen using semiconductor photocatalysts, especially TiO2,has been considered as a promising and attractive approach to produce hydrogen energy[1,2].Pure TiO2 shows fast rates of electron–hole recombination and a high overpotential for H2 evolution[3].The rate of recombination could be restrained by loading Pt or enzymes known as hydrogenases[4],which apparently raise the cost of hydrogen production.
