In this work the accurate dynamometer test simulation of vehicle test over New European Driving Cycle was investiga-ted.The results indicate that the parameters of vehicle in the test cycle,such as engine speed,engine load,gear shifting,VVT tim-ing,ignition timing,etc.,can be precisely simulated by the dynamometer simulation test.Furthermore,the investigation about the ve-hicle emission simulation on the engine dynamometer test bench demonstrates that it is possible to identify the control parameters which influence the vehicle emission characteristics and estimate the vehicle emission test result by dynamometer test.The dynamometer test simulation can cut down the period of development cycle and guide the vehicle emission calibration.
