Seed dispersal is vital for plant in their life cycle.The majority of plants rely on vertebrate frugivores to disperse their seeds by offering a reward for swallowing them in the form of fruit.The fruits with single-seeded,globose,bright color,berry traits are considered the first choice of frugivorous birds in most cases.

茄子喜温不耐寒。项目组前期已克隆了拟南芥冷调控转录因子AtCBF3基因,利用冷诱导基因启动子RD29A构建高效表达载体,采用农杆菌介导的方法,将抗寒基因AtCBF3导入茄子基因组,获得了茄子转基因植株。对这些转化后代进行抗寒性与分子检测研究,以验证AtCBF3基因对茄子抗寒性的影响及AtCBF3基因在茄子上的表达。
厚皮甜瓜在海南高温高湿条件下贮藏易发生果皮长斑、果肉软化和果腐病等,导致采后供应期短。本研究中探索了贝壳粉溶液、不同温度和包装材料处理对厚皮甜瓜采后生理及贮藏品质的影响。
辣椒素具有重要的生物活性,只在辣椒属植物中合成和积累。分析表明:辣椒素在辣椒果实胎座和隔膜上的腺体细胞中合成,然后通过子房隔膜运输到果肉表皮细胞,并在液泡中积累。因此在辣椒果实的各组织中,胎座和隔膜组织辣椒素含量最高,种子最低,果肉居中。
