The transfer efficiency and the transmission distance in the magnetic resonance coupling wireless power transfer system is contradictory,generally speaking,the farther the distance is,the lower the efficiency is.In order to simultaneously achieve the high transfer efficiency and the far transmission distance requirements,the intermediate coils system is proposed.The expression of the efficiency of the system is obtained by applying Coupled-mode theory when an intermediate coil is added.Maximum transfer efficiency is obtained when coupling coefficients are equal between adjacent coils and cross-coupling coefficient is equal to zero via analysis of the expression of the efficiency of the system.The simulation and experimental verify the correctness of the theory.
