Based on the new paradigms of phraseological sequences research developed by scholars at home and abroad in recent years,this paper presents the significantly different phraseological sequences utilized by Chinese science and engineering students in relation to their British counterparts,through the comparative analyses of two corpora: a small-scale Chinese academic written English corpus and British Academic Written English.
