In recent years,aliphatic polycarbonates ([—(CH2)m—O—CO—O—]n) have attracted considerable attention for their excellent biodegradability,biocompatibility and physical or chemical properties1,2.One of them,poly (octamethylene carbonate) (POMC,m=8),exhibits complex crystal transitions and secondary crystallization behavior,as shown in Figure 1.In the range of 40 ℃ to 45 ℃,as Figure 2shows,a reversible crystal transition is observed,which is very similar with the Brill transition of nylons3,4.
