Kinetic isotope effects (KIEs) has long been utilized to determine the rate-limiting step or to be a spin-state reactivity probe in hydroxylation of organic substrates catalyzed by metalloporphyrins with stoichiometric oxidants [1],In this paper,we firstly used KIEs to study the mechanism of iron porphyrin complex catalyzed oxidation of cyclohexane with molecular oxygen.
