Magnetic hollow spheres with its unique hollow geometry and significant curved surfaces exhibit unexpected physical properties different from those of thin films and solid counterparts. We have previously found significantly enhanced coercivity and unusual green colo in Fe3O4 hollow spheres with a diameter of 600 nm and shell thickness of 40 nm.

For irrigation and public water uses, to remove sediment (especially fine sediment) from raw river water is one of the most important issues faced today.
An experiment with non-submerged live vegetation was performed in a flume, and statistical analysis of velocity data measured along vertical lines was conducted with the time average method.
High flow data is one of the most important information for river flood control and water management. The Price current meter is usually used to measure river velocity and discharge.
This paper has shown experimental results of averaged turbulent flow pattern and 3D water surface configuration in confluent bend channel.
Nowadays, the world is suffering from unpredictable natural disasters such as typhoons and heavy rains due to the climate change and global warming. The United States suffered a great life and property
Combining with prototype observation data, the hydraulic characteristics of stepped spillway combined with X-shape flaring gate piers before and after the addition of aerator were studied by physical
For preserving a comfortable river ecosystem, it is important to protect and restore the riffles and pools within engineered channels, where should play a role in the habitat diversity and complexity.
The studies on the subject have been generally focused on free overflow of side weirs located on a straight channel.
In this study, we tried to estimate the discharge coefficient for the meandering channel. Our hydraulic experiments are classified into two types.
Reasonable embedment depth and coveting layer protection measure are key targets of immersed tunnel engineering design in consideration of join between hard tunnel and loose sediment where river bed s
