In the tokomak exhaust processing(TEP)system,hydrogen isotope exchange reaction between CQ4 and H2 is applied to recycle combining DT and increase the decontamination factor.There are some impurities in the exhaust gas,such as CO,N2,etc.In this work,the influence of CO on hydrogen isotope exchange reaction between CH4 and HD was studied.Two catalysts,1.0 wt.%Pt/(a)-Al2O3 and 1.0wt.%Pd/(a)-Al2O3 were used,respectively.In the case of 1.0wt.%Pt/(a)-Al2O3,compared with pure CH4,1.0%CO in CH4 caused the temperature at which the exchange reaction start increasing from 200℃ to 450℃,and the temperature at which the reaction reach the highest exchange ratio increasing from 450℃ to 550℃.
