Background: Experiments on biological effects of millimeter-waves (MMWs) use single-mode radiators and face the problems of the nonuniform distribution of the power density on the sample.In this study, a multi-mode radiator is designed with simple configuration and effective improvement of the exposure uniformity without reducing the efficiency of the aperture exposure.
