In the modern environment art design,the fusion of aesthetic concept and high-technology has become increasingly normalized.On this basis,how to make better use of aesthetic and technology under the guidance of environmental behaviour science to satisfy peoples pursuit of high quality life and design concept becomes crucial.A further study of modern environment space shows that,the relationship between peoples behaviour and their environment is interaction,rather than one-way transformation that people affects the environment.In the long run of design,designers should insist on functionalism as the basic principal to make the design works and environment better serve the people.Environmental behaviour science is not only the scientific evidence to balance the relationship between behaviour pattern and environment space,but also the necessary considerations in design.Only in this way,can the designers really create humanistic living environment which treats peoples requirements as the starting point.In the course of modem environment art design teaching,educators always pay too much attention to the studentsunderstanding of aesthetic principle and pattern,or emphasize the expression of form and visual,thus downplay the design consciousness that people oriented and environment serve the people.The concrete manifestation on environment behaviour is the weaken of importance in design.After an indepth analysis to this phenomenon,we can see that there are two immediate cause led to the dilution of environmental behaviour,they are the brief history of environment art design major and the excessively emphasis on aesthetic.In order to make the students get away from the functional design defects in their future work,educators must help them build the most basic consciousness of environmental behaviour at the beginning of teaching,such as the dimension consciousness of function first,the presupposed consciousness of interaction between people and environment,and the spiritual consciousness of the emotion sublimate from environment.Taking these into consideration,at the beginning of environment art design teaching,our educators must root the environmental behaviour as the guiding ideology into the studentsdesign consciousness.In view of this,the universities should treat environmental behaviour as the core of environment art design education when they cultivate qualified environmental art designers.
