Ultrasonic and surfactant treatments are two methods to increase the efficiency in Agrobacterium-mediated cotyledon node transformation of soybean separately by allowing the access of Agrobacterium to the target cell more easily. In this study, Four cultivated soybeans (Shuilizhan, Tianlong 1, Jack and Zhonghuang 10) were used as receptors to check the transformation efficiency after ultrasonic and surfactant treatments by transforming a vector expressing GUS gene.
